Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Quetta has the mandate to conduct matric and intermediate exams in the whole province of Balochistan. All the schools and colleges, either public or private, are affiliated with BUSE Quetta and every year thousands of regular and private students appear in the SSC and HSSC annual and supply exams under Quetta Board. BISE Quetta organizes 9th and 10th class annual exams in March and April while intermediate exams are held in May and June. Results of these exams are also announced according to a schedule which is few months after the exams.

Like other parts of Pakistan, BISE Quetta also changes the syllabus and paper pattern of exams from time to time. Therefore, it is important for the matric and intermediate class students of Quetta Board to remain aware about their new paper pattern and syllabus.
