Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Quetta Balochistan has the mandate to conduct SSC and HSSC annual and supply exams in the province of Balochistan. It is the sole education board in the province of Balochistan due to which all the public and private schools and colleges in Balochistan are affiliated with BISE Quetta for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class exams. Lots of private students of Balochistan also register themselves with Quetta Board and every year thousands of regular and private students appear in the matric and intermediate level exams under hamara BISE Quetta. Quetta Board organizes annual exams of SSC part 1 & 2 in the months of March and April while HSSC part 1 & 2 are held during the months of May and June. Written and practical papers are held separately while practical papers for science students are held after the written papers.

Quetta Board announces the results of matric and intermediate annual exams after two or three months of the exams. SSC part 1 & 2 annual exams results are announced in June or July while HSSC part 1 & 2 annual exams results are declared in August or September. Soon after the result announcement, the students can view their complete results at the official site of the board while the result cards are also dispatched to the students and the students collect their result cards at their home addresses after few days of the announcement of the results.

Supply exams of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class also known as improvement exam or 2nd annual are held after couple of months of the annual exams results while BISE Quetta issues the matric and intermediate supply exams results one or two months after the SSC and HSSC supply exams.
